Conditions of Enrolment at the Dance School of Distinction Ballarat / Permission and Indemnity Waiver.
Students are required to wear the correct uniform as specified by Dance School of Distinction Ballarat (the School), be groomed correctly and be on time for class. Any absence needs to be notified in advance.
Due care will be taken with your children while they are in class, however in case of illness or serious injury, where parents are not contactable, we will seek medical advice and act accordingly where treatment is deemed necessary. Associated costs will be the responsibility or the undersigned Parent / Guardian.
All due care will be taken and correct technical instruction given, however students dance at their own risk.
The School and Anita Michael retain ownership rights over all choreography.
The School takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
No students or their parents or other persons may use the name of the School or perform any dances choreographed by its teachers without permission from Anita Michael.
Students may be photographed / filmed at various times for programs, newsletters, website, promotional material etc.
Students examination results, competition results and other academic achievements may be used at the discretion of the School for programs, newsletters or other advertising material.
Payment of all fees, as they fall due and payable, are the responsibility of the undersigned parent / guardian for any period that the above student is enrolled at the School.
The discretion of teaching staff will be used in regards to the casting of performances and selection for private lessons, troupes, solos and competitive events. No discussion will be entered into.
Fees are individually calculated according to the requirements of your family. Fees are reasonable and in line with all other Ballet Schools.
